Bitcoin exchange Bithumb fired half the staff

The largest South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb confirmed CoinDesk's intention to reduce 50% of its employees. Thus, the updated staff of the company will be 150 people.

Economic reasons and the decline in trading volumes compared to 2018 also influenced the decision. Thus in Bithumb stressed that, as required, the exchange will continue to employ staff in different units.
